FISHTOWN, Philly: Driver Injured in Fiery Rear-End Crash at North Delaware Avenue and Marlborough Street

Fishtown, California (July 5, 2017) – One person was injured early Friday morning a fiery rear-end crash at an intersection in Fishtown, Philadelphia, according to a police report.

The accident took place at about 1:30 a.m. Friday, June 30 at the intersection of at North Delaware Avenue and Marlborough Street.

Authorities said a car crashed into the rear of a trash truck and the car caught fire. Firefighters responded to the scene and pulled out the driver from the car. The man was taken to a local hospital with several injuries.

No further information regarding the condition of the man was provided.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
