2 Injured in Three-Car Crash in Westmoreland County

Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (July 31, 2017) – Two people were injured in a three- vehicle crash in Salem Township early Monday morning, according to Westmoreland County 911 supervisors.

The incident was reported at around 5:35 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Route 22 outside the Wagon Wheel restaurant.

Drivers were able to move two of the cars involved in the Wagon Wheel parking lot, but one of the cars had crashed into a sign.

One westbound lane of Route 22 was closed as a result of the crash.

Limited details regarding the cause of the crash and the conditions of the victims were available at the time of the report.

The crash remains under an investigation by authorities.
